To celebrate the 50th Anniversary year of Hip-Hop Event
The City of Raleigh Museum has partnered with local scholars and industry experts to facilitate a public lecture series and round table discussion on Hip Hop and how it shaped culture in Raleigh.
Fayetteville St closed for a huge block party and festival.
The streets will be filled with a Car show, graffiti artists, hip hop dance performances, DJ’s, venders, food trucks, jumbotron TV and educational programming. Plus so much more.
Get out your best attire and of course your favorite sneakers. A Celebration of 50 years, honoring Raleigh’s most influential contributors of Hip Hop. A magical night with tons music and big name performers (watch for announcements) .A posh VIP experience is optional as well . Don’t miss one of Raleigh's most exciting evenings of the year. .
