SHARE YOUR FILMS
Rifle through your attics, dig through your closets, call Grandma, and discover your family's home movies (8mm, Super8mm, 16mm, Video8, or VHS). Drop off film that you would like to share for Home Movie Day Raleigh and A/V Geeks will digitize up to 10 minutes of footage/video.
As a BONUS, you’ll later get a free digital transfer (downloadable file e-mailed to you) of the home movie that you shared with us on the screen.
DROP-OFF FILMS
Choose up to 10 minutes of your home movies on film (that's roughly 3 (three), 50ft reels of 8mm film) or video tape and bring to:

We'll be accepting home movies from 1-4pm Wednesdays-Saturdays from August 25th to September 5th. If these times aren't convenient for you, contact us at avgeeks@gmail.com or 919-247-7752.
With video tape, please specify if there's a specific scene you want us to capture. We won't be able to let you queue up the video tape at our studio.
WATCH LIVE, SHARE YOUR STORY & PLAY BINGO
Some of the footage we digitize for free we will present live online* on Saturday, September 12th for Home Movie Day Raleigh-2020 via Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Twitch. Join us online when we will screen at least one of your films for you and the audience to enjoy! You can join in on Zoom and point out people and places you recognize!
If you don’t have any home movies of your own, tune in to enjoy the memories your neighbors bring. It’s fun and educational! Raleigh HMD will also be featuring Home Movie Day Bingo!
